Traditional Braces
Traditional silver braces are small and comfortable to wear. Colors can be added to the braces for extra fun.
Shaped Braces
Silver braces are available in fun shapes for the front teeth. They come in hearts, stars, soccer balls, flowers and footballs.
Clear Braces
Similar to traditional braces but the brackets are clear. These are appealing for individuals who want to minimize the look of the braces. Clear Braces are a nice alternative for adults or older teens.
Retainers
Sometimes all that is needed to fix a minor concern is a retainer! Retainers can be used for some dental problems such as minor crowding or to close dental space.
Early Treatment
By age seven, most children have a mix of baby teeth and adult teeth. Although most orthodontic treatment is done when the adult teeth are fully erupted, certain orthodontic problems respond to early correction better than waiting until adolescence. In some children, early treatment may prevent more serious problems from developing and can sometimes make treatment at a later age shorter or less complicated. In fact, through early intervention, Dr. Dennis can achieve results that are simply not possible once the face and jaws have stopped growing.
Teen Treatment
Orthodontic treatment is designed to bring the teeth, lips and face into balance by addressing orthodontic concerns. Most adolescents get braces when all of their adult teeth have erupted (often around age 12). A healthy, confident smile makes a difference in how a teen looks and feels about him or herself.
Adult Treatment
If you missed the opportunity to have orthodontic work while you were a child or have seen undesirable changes in your teeth as an adult, you can now have a second chance, thanks to dramatic advances in orthodontics over the last decade.
You'll find that the technology has changed considerably. Metal braces are much smaller and more comfortable than they used to be, and you may be able to wear braces made of clear ceramic or "invisible" braces made of plastic. Sometimes we can even use retainers to correct minor problems.
